Indoor farming isn't just about meeting today's needs; it's about securing tomorrow's resources. To feed the future, the way of growing crops needs to aim higher. That’s why TTA develops high-tech automation equipment for indoor farming and CEA facilities – to help feed the growing population more sustainably.

Combining all technologies
to create the future of food

We provide indoor farms with the latest technologies for sowing, transplanting, selecting, and harvesting plants to guarantee healthy and uniform indoor-grown crops. Internal transport is done by Lowpad autonomous mobile robots. Automated indoor farms result in lower production costs, higher quality plants, and a higher yield.

The most efficient indoor farm

One of the most significant advantages of indoor farming is consistent year-round production without the impact of adverse weather conditions. This is great because growing in a safe, climate-controlled environment allows for repeatable and programmable crop production.

It’s time for the next step in your indoor farm. We create the most efficient indoor farms! How do we do it? We combine your ideal environment with our high-tech automation equipment for the production process, from sowing to planting/selecting, harvesting, and all logistic movements.

How does this sound?

Shorter production times

Almost 100% qualified plants

Less dependency on scarce and expensive staff

No more wasting energy,
water and nutrients for
substandard plants

OUR SOLUTIONS

How would you like your vegetables to grow?

Professional nurseries around the world use various methods to grow vegetables. The choice of a system strongly depends on the growing period and the current or desired layout of the greenhouse.

TTA’s equipment suits almost all hydroponic cultivation systems, including Mobile Gutter Systems (MGS), Deep Floating Technique (DFT) and Multilayer Systems.

Growing methods:

—  Mobile Gutter System (MGS)
—  Deep Floating Technique (DFT)
—  Multilayer System

Mobile Gutter System (MGS)

A Mobile Gutter System is a type of horticulture that replaces soil with a nutrient water solution. An in-line pump circulates nutrient-enriched water through the plant’s root system, ensuring that they are watered and fed but not completely soaked. This enables you to perfectly control each type of plant with the exact amount of water and nutrients. This technique is mainly used for plants that are harvested relatively quickly, such as lettuce and herbs.

The main advantages of an MGS system:

  • Precisely control how much water and nutrients the plant gets
  • Plant roots are exposed to an adequate supply of water, oxygen, and nutrients
  • Higher yield per m2, high level automation
  • Shortens crop cycles. The plant growth is faster.

Deep Floating Technique (DFT)

Deep Floating Technique systems keep the hydroponics plant roots in the nutrient solution for 15-20 centimeters at all times. Then, plants are placed on a floating tray in the liquid reservoir. The roots hang directly in the nutrient solution, which is very well-oxygenated. This is done using an air pump and aeration stones, introducing very fine air bubbles into the water. Since the roots are constantly supplied with oxygen-rich nutrient solution, the plants grow very quickly and vigorously.

The main advantages of a DFT system:
  • Perfect control of the amount of fertilizer
  • Easy to operate
  • All the growing conditions can be controlled
  • Stable temperature and nutrient solution because the water reservoir can store significant water.

Multilayer system

Multilayer Systems are widely used in vertical farms. Due to growing demands for food and the lack of available space, Vertical Farming is developing fast. In vertical farms, vegetables are grown under perfect conditions because there are no external influences. This results in eco-friendly, safer, and healthier vegetables.

Plants can grow optimally because the roots get much more oxygen, water and nutrients are added very precisely, and LED lighting ensures the correct application of artificial light. In addition, a multilayer system uses less surface area, energy, and water, and production takes place year-round, which results in higher yields.

The main advantages of a Multilayer system:
  • Year-round production
  • Higher plant quality and uniformity
  • Efficient use of space compared to traditional farms
